Another word for giants in hebrew is נפילים which has the same root letters as the word ליפול to fall. A deeper lesson in the connection could be that giants of spirit and character are not those who never fall but especially those who do but insist on getting up as many times as is necessary never giving up on themselves ,never giving up on others and never giving up on G-D
