A possible lesson in the connection could be that we have to be so wary of the privilege of raising a child who is in a sense like a bucket taking everything in being in their innocence filled with what we teach,how we talk,act ,react etc
If we extend a hand and do our best to help ,guide ,care love and be the best examples that we can be hopefully the bucket will be filled with positive ,good,inspirational things
If G-D forbid we do not make an effort or care about the example we are showing our kids etc then their positive,good beneficial gains and lessons from us will be no more than little, meager ; paltry and inadequate
Let us cherish the privilege of having children be the best that Hashem allows us to be
